thanks giving break : )

For thank giving, i been to the house of this two cute old woman :)

They are miss Yu and miss Manne.

miss Manne like to cook a lot of food. Our schedule bascially are breakfest, snack, lunch, snack, snack, dinner, mid-night snack....

Especially the thanks giving dinner, we had a lot of food and left-over.... lol

So the morning we woke up at 10 and we drive to Cincinati for 2 hrs.

We play music and talk on the way, it wasn't seem that long at all.

Ofcouse, we went shopping for thanks giving!

This was the bag i found so cute, but none of my friends agree..

this trip to cincinati wasn't so long , we only stay for two days.

I think i had a lot of good time :)

It feel like home when i be with Miss Yu and Manne.

And we met their family, and they all so nice to us!

They are like my second family, i felt so warm : )

I had a really great day with my friend Grace in Easton yesterday :)
That morning i received a from her when i was still in bed.
She was asking me if i want to go Easton with her or no.
I didn't think too much and i decided to go. It is Such a long time i didn't do shopping!
So we caught a bus and went for a 45 mins bus ride.
It didn't seem that long though, as we were having a good time talking.
Then we went to a Sushi Place. It was nice and yummy.
Then we stated a long shopping in Forever 21, shoes shop and Macy...
we didn't been to so much shop but we were being so slow.
There were way too much people in Forever 21.
The fitting room was impossible to get in. So we went to Macy. We tried every bags in the bags section, but we leave without buying anythings and putting the bags back,which was really bad.
We get a bad stare from the shop keeper. So we leave for dinner.
We had dinner in BD which is a Barbecue place. However we got a bad service , no one was serving at us at all. The food was a bit not cook. So we didn't tips at all.
Anyways, we go back to Forever 21 to buy stuffs.
We finally get back to dorm around 12:30 after waiting for a bus for 1 hr.
To conclude my day, bad things happen but i had a lot of fun from talking with my friend.

Helloween : )

Hey! is Big boo! so like one hour before the big boo, me and grace were still eating in the cafetireia without any idea that what our costume for the big boo. In that 1 hr, we call a taxi and buy the tickets for big boo.

In 15 mins we arrived the first Helloween store that we saw in high street. I found a mask that I really like it, then since we got no time, thats all i got for my costume. Luckily I got a red wing from my friend, thats make my outfit more "helloweenish". My friend come over and we get ready in hurry and we go to the big boo!
The big boo was in a Club called Boma, which was a church before.So cool!

 I went with a group of pretty korean girls, here you go smile..:D

Later the night, i mean other chinese girl!i was soooo glad<3

the next day we heng out again :)

we been to the high ball. and look ! we are dancing on the street!

SHOPPING ALL WEEKEND..

Who knows how much joy woman get when they shop?

Just can't imagine that I had been shopping all week.
I guess it is another Asian girl thing.

On friday, I been to Urban outfitter with Yulander, which is one of my friend from Hong Kong.She came to my dorm room wait for me to get ready. I did make up for her and she liked it : ).

Is like long time I didn't hang out with a girl that could do girl's stuff with me. Is so much fun!

We took the bus together to high street and the ride felt much shorter. We finally arrived Urban Outfitter. OMG things were on Sales!!! I went to the shose appartment to put on some shoses. There were like thousand pair of shoses laying everwhere on the floor.(Since they were on sales, people tended to try them on and lay them on the floor.) Even was really messy but I still really excited about it.Then I went to the clothes appartment and discounts appartment too. For saving time, we just try the clothes on top of my t-shirt in front of the mirrio.  After we went to get bubble tea for drink and Bufferlo Wings for dinner. The chicken wings with gardic source was really yummy!! I'm so going back again!

After then, her brother came join, and we went to Marshell to check out the discount clothing. Is the first time i been there and i loved it! Stuff were really cheap and cute! I got a pair of shoses,which is in the picture, for a great deal!

This was the picture on last monday. It was another long day. We been to Target, Wal-mark and etc. I got everything from the store. Look at the stuff we got! they are from mirro , drawer, hanger..to toothplast and pad. I was really happy because my friend are driving so I dont have to carry them to take the bus. On that day, we also met some new friends. I even met a girl that i know before! Then we head back to my dorm to drop stuff n hang out in my room a little bit. We were too noisy that my roomate get so mad the other day.

Sunday we were out for meeting Obama.

It wasn't that fun as we thought.

Just a long waiting and standing and tired....

however i am glad to see Obama...when i jump up.

Since i am too short, the guys in front of me was wat taller.

I have to keep jumping up inorder to see Obama.

However, he looked like a dust to me as we were too far away from the stage.

Sigh.............

anyway. i m glad that i could proudly tell people "I saw Obama."

Yesterday i weared my contact lance to go to painting class.
We were doing oil paint. Oil paint is like never dry up and is toxic.
Plus, it is hard to wash it off. I have it over my hand and I guess i didn't wash my hand entirely...
As a result i got it on my eyes.
Some of my friends got this red eyes from oil painting too.
It hurt so bad....
And look at my skin...
Since the oil is too oily, it effect your skin too..
i am the victim of oil painting : ((((((((

so last firday i walked to short north to meet my friend by myself.
It was at the day time , and i tried to wait for a bus.
However, the bus take forever to come. So i decide to walk....
I WAS SCARY!!!
there were nobody on the street, and i saw so many homeless people walk around, they kept looking at me.
I swear i will never do it again!
lucky i got a ride home when i m back.

How is the marketing strategies of benetton and forever 21 different?Where do you whan to work and buy from?

Benetton is a really pricy stories chain, so they used a marketing strategies called distraction marketing. They create some commerical to take people off, they think it make people forgot about the unrational price of the products. In the other hand, Forever 21 go to a customer friendly marketing, their product usually at a low price. Plus they have a trendy and freash style of collection, attracted many young-adult and teenagers to shop their.
Additionally, their stories was well designed, people enjoy shopping their more then other low-price store.

Firstly, I really enjoy shopping at Forever 21. They have large range of style that I can choose from and the price was low, that's excatly what  i enjoy shopping at.However, I do not want to work there, since there are always people there. The visitors of the shopping grap every clothes to put on, and when they don't fit it , the put it back randomly. The store is always busy, the fitting room is always followed with a long line. Everytime when i looked at the assistance working there, they are always busy around the shop. They were flodding clothes, helping directing the customers to the fitting room and check out for them. I can't imagine myself working there.
I think i will probably work at Benetton. Even i never been there, but it is a expensive store so i suppose they have fewer customers. In that way i will not be that busy.

i like writing my blog..

I like writing my blog beacuse it help me improve my english and it help me to remember what I was thinking.
First of all I really feel more confident to eather write and speak in english. Though writing my blog, it developed my mind to think in english. Also , as I write more, I get more practice in spelling, grammar sturcture and tense. English is just like math, when you learn it, it seems hard to understand ; when you do it, it makes so much sense. Ofcouse my english is still really bad, but it seem makes more sense to me now.
Second, It recorded my life. I used to forgot everything. It always take me long time to recall the mamories of  yesterday, event I was really mad or I got inspired . Writing a journal help me get organize my mind and record my life. I enjoy wirting my joural so much !!

Still remember them?

    Alex the energatic lion , Marty the talkaive Zebra, Melman the stupid Giraffe, and Gloria the smart Hippo. They were the popular animal in the New York Zoo.Marty was always pictured himself running in the big glassland freely as he looked at the wall painting in the Zoo. One day, he decideed to escape from the Zoo to Africa . His friends Alex, Melman and Gloria followed him. On the way, they met different intresting animals and made lot of joke out of it. Madagascar totally have 3 sequels. The second sequel--Madagascar2 actually awarded The favourite Animated Movie in 2009 Kids' Choice Award.

    Alex was the lion star in the New York Zoo. His was really good at dancing in front of the tourists, and he enjoy the applause from the people. When he went back to Africa, he met his real parent which they lost him when he was a baby. However, he didn't fit in the group of other lion.

His dad wanted him to join a grown up ceremony which have to "battle" with other lions. Alex was failed in the test because he thought "battle" mean dancing battle instead of real fighting battle. His professional dance move that he had been proud of became a shame in his family. However at the end of the story,Alex saved his population  and other animals by his dance move. It is because people reconlize he was the lion star Alex from the New York Zoo by his professional dance move, so they stoped attacking them.As a result the hold population remained save. This movie related to topic such as self-confident, friendships and enviroment.

    First, I think this story was trying to tell people to be who they are. Referring to lion Alex, he is a lion but he can't fight. However, he can do brilliant dance move. We don't have to feel ashame about what we can't do, however, we should appericate what we can do. Just like Alex saved the animals by his dancing talent , our advantage will be useful at some point in our life.

   Second, the other thing the story were talking about was friendship. Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria have been good friends for long time. When Marty tried to escepe form the Zoo, his friends went to find him. More example, when Marty go back to his Zebra population, Alex was confused about who was Marty since every Zebra look excatly the same. Marty was really mad about it. However, event Alex couldn't figure out who was Marty, but Marty still help Alex at the important moment. It was talking about forgiveness in a friendship. It was really touching that Alex finally figure out Marty from the crowd, because they were real friends, so he can tell Marty's patten was different from the others.

It showed how a real friendship suppost to be, helping each other, forgiving each other and reconlizing the characteristic in each other.

     Finally, It also talk about the enviroment. People hunting animal for fun, for food or for money and regradless of animal life. Many wild animal are living a hard time because of people over developed.

In the story, the New Yorker was lost in the Africa's jungle, so they built up a water dam to keep the water in supply, it stoped the water to the rivier, as a result the animal suffered in a drought.

In the real world, people polluted our water and air, they event cleared up the forests. Millions animals died for it. This movie remind us to think about our enviroment first before we do something.

    I am not usually a cartoon fan, but this cartoon was super funny and touching. I love Madagascar !!

Gay club at the first time LOL !!

    I swear I never had such fun in a stright club before!
Last saturday, again, I woke up late and I was doing my homework for whole morning.
(Actually I had fun in my lunch time with my funny friend Grace, that's keep me got throught the boring working day.)I don't know why I always have a lot of homework waiting for me.
I guess I have to learn how to manage my time more wisely.

    Anyway, Thanks God for my friend ask me to go clubing at night.
I usually not a party but I got so stressed from my homework, so I decided to get my stress out.
At the time I meet my friends I reconlize it was a school thing.
It was organized by the Stright and gay club, a night out to the gay bar.
I was a little bit surprised by the openness, because comparing to the school in Hong Kong, they are never open enough to allow a gay club bring their student to clubbing at a gay bar.(They think is not decent.) Moreover, The people were so nice and funny, was a nice combination of people. We walked all the way to the wall street, stoped at a secret looked door. The dance floor and the music were awesome!I requested a song : OMG from Usher. Then my friends all got crazy because we all love this song. At the time we were dancing, a freaky woman grabbed my hand and asked me to make out with an other girl in our group. I was totally freak out. It was good that she went away when she reconlize it was awkward.Later the night we even danced in the table. I know it was crazy but was so much fun.

    Around 1:30, my friends all got tired so we went back to dorm.
I was still in the dancing mood but I think is wiser to go back to my homwork and be a good girl .

rewrite of the day of 10th Sept 2010..

Last week was a crazy weekend.
Last firday I got a day off so I could woke up late.
Around 12:30 I took a quick shower and grabbed some food with my friend.
After, we hung out a little bit then I went back to my room and do my homeworks.
Basically my day was filled with homework untill I took a trip tp P.O.D store to get dinner.
As I passed by the Design squre, I saw my friend all dressed up and waved at me.
They were yelling " Sarah! come over here and get into the cap!. "
It was my friend Nicole birthday, so they were planning to go to Short North for dinner.
I was wearing T-shirt and rough jeans, comparing with them looked so dump!
Anyway, it turn out a sweet friends gathering.
We ate at a sushi place, Huikui, which was really nice and cute little restaurant.
The food was good and they even offered my friend a birthday shot!
I didn't eat anything since dinner, so the sushi was alsolutely deliscious to me,
and I was still really hungry after the dinner, so we stoped by a coffee place to have tea and snacks.
We had a nice time togather. Thanks God for make me step out of my room so that I saw my friends and join their birthday dinner! It made my day :)

My new college life : )

Just back from Momos, which is a karaoke box, in an hour ago.
I had so much fun! singing karaoke is one of the "chinese things" that I missed the most.
The karaoke box is all in chinese. They have so many singer from Hong Kong, Its almost like Hong Kong's karaoke box!
I went with my korean friends. They all sang in Korean and I sang in Chinese.
It suppose to be afward but it actually didn't. I enjoy myself and so do they.

Waiting for my boyfrined until 3, but he still didnt call : (

Where did you go? I am very homesick now.

Really want to go back in Christmas holiday.

We got a month and I really don't know where to go at that time.

Hope my mom will let me : )

Can't celebrate the birthday with my boyfriend ..

So I am preparing a gift for him.
